St. David's Church Council Annual Report 2008

St. David's Church Council had three meetings in 2008 (February 3, June 16 and September 26).

Fundraising events included a Mothers' Day fundraiser, a Fathers' Day fundraiser, a yard sale, a Labour Day supper put on by the ACW, a Home & Gift party, and a dime auction.

It is noted we received a bequest with the request that it be used towards a PA system for St. David's, which is being looked into.

A new oil tank was purchased and installed in the fall, as well as an electrical upgrade of the Church by a certified electrician. Building supplies were also purchased for the erection of a furnace room wall (as required by the insurance inspector) and this should be installed in the next few months.
